The Ambassador idea has its origins in humanism. Its characteristics are: Respect for human dignity, shared responsibility for the preservation of human freedom, humanitarianism in everyday life, and justice, tolerance and mutual aid as principles in dealing with each other. The idea encourages an interest in cultural exchange and travel in order to increase connections between people and nations. We strongly believe that such ties will lead to increased comprehension, improved confidence, and more and stronger understanding and agreement between people and nations. Ambassadors build friendships which overcome barriers.
